Washington County's local district court page points users to the Kansas District Court Public Access Portal, but the current statewide system is CaseSearch. Washington County Docket Courts
Washington County is part of the 12th Judicial District, along with Cloud, Jewell, Lincoln, Mitchell, and Republic counties. Washington County Dockets vs Records
The docket is the map of the case. The full court record is the file behind that map. Read Washington County Court Dockets
Read a docket from the oldest filing to the newest entry. The opening entry often identifies the case type and first filing. Later entries show service, appearances, motions, continuances, hearings, orders, pleas, judgments, sentencing, payments, and appeal notices. If several events occur on the same date, read them in the order entered and check whether a later entry changes the effect of an earlier one.
